About the Clinic
The Dental clinic Piedense is located on the south bank of the Tagus River in Lisbon in the municipality of Almada – Cova da Piedade.
The clinic was founded by Dr. A. Santos Carreiro in 1985. Dr A. Santos Carreiro quickly distinguished himself in society by being a great health professional, building over 40 years a huge list of patients and fans.
In this sense, the clinic, due to the success obtained by Dr Carreiro, had the opportunity to develop, growing, in the number of clinical offices and medical qualification. In 1985 the clinic had 2 clinical offices and today it has 6 clinical offices and several areas of expertise.
In the clinic there is an extraordinarily strong and rigorous family culture in terms of oral health. Dr Susana Carreiro and Dr Pedro Carreiro, sons of Dr António Santos Carreiro, are also dentists. In this sense, our vision and strong sense of mission is based on this message “A family of Dentists taking care of your family’s oral health”.
Our clinic, has the philosophy of treating all families so that they feel as integral and whole family in our common house, the clinic.

The clinical staff is highly qualified. Those, have been carefully chosen to keep the quality of the service provided and treatments carried out in accordance with the golden standards of Dr A. Santos Carreiro. Of the 17 Dentists, 4 are recognized as specialists by the Portuguese Dental Association.
Dr Pedro Carreiro, Specialist in Orthodontics, Portuguese and Danish Dental Association, works in both countries, Denmark and Portugal.
Dr Eevi Pulst, is our specialist orthodontic consultant in Denmark. In this sense, Dr Pedro Carreiro and Dr Eevi Pulst speak fluent Danish, being delighted to receive our Dansk patients residing in Portugal at our clinic. De siger og synes , blev det hygligt og dejligt!
Dr Clara Fontinha, a specialist in Orthodontics from the University of Geneve, works in both countries (Switzerland and Portugal) with great fluency in French language.
